A customer buys a mug with their photo and their name. With a template, the design always comes out just as well and only their details change.
Step by step
- Pick the template. Find one in the Templates category or train your own with Template Trainer.
- Test it with several imaginary customers. Run it from the Studio with a photo and a name. Then use "Tweak" to change only the photo or only the text and repeat with different faces, ages and long and short names.
- Settle the options. Decide the format and whether you want the transparent background, so every order comes out the same.
- Connect it to your store. Every template is a model with its own endpoint. When an order comes in, your store uploads the photo with
POST /uploadand runs the template withPOST /api/v1/model/{owner}/{name}, with the photo and the text as inputs. - Receive the result. Add a
webhookto the call and we'll send you the design as soon as it's ready.
When to use it
When the design is always the same and the only thing that changes is the person, the pet or the name.
More on connecting it in your API key and first call and uploading files and receiving webhooks.
